Cindy Carter was starting a life of being homeless, as her mother chased her out as soon as she turned sixteen. She’s not part of the family her mother was building with a man not her father. A week into the streets, Elian Harris approached her and offered her a place to stay, having experienced homelessness as well and knowing it must be more difficult on a young girl. He’s usually not at home anyway, too busy working here and there, building up his savings, and chasing the financial freedom he craves. But life is hard.

Having not stepped into college, Elian’s job choices are limited but he made a promise to himself. Never again is he going to sleep on the streets. He’s a hard worker. Too busy with everything else, never once did he search for love. Until one day, he realized what he’s been missing. He finally saw Cindy as a grown-up woman. And then, all the complications happen. Would he be able to rise above the challenges and stick with his choices?
